About Pregnancy Crisis Care »

Pregnancy Crisis Care was founded in 2008 as a professional and confidential service available to anyone experiencing unintended pregnancy, pregnancy loss or difficulties following an abortion*.

We are passionately committed to helping women and couples through pregnancy crises; offering free, confidential, impartial support and counselling.

In 2013, Pregnancy Crisis Care became an independent charity, Registered Charity No: 1153438.

Our team of dedicated practitioners come from a wide variety of backgrounds and have all undertaken specialist training in the areas of pregnancy choices*, post-abortion and baby loss counselling.

Sessions are available on a 1:1 basis; alternatively clients may bring a partner. Initial appointments may be attended with a family member, friend or other professional worker.

Sessions are confidential.

(Confidentiality is maintained except under three exclusions: serious risk of harm to self or others, supervision, or under specific legal circumstances).

We are Organisational Members of British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP Membership No: 207469) and therefore adhere to their Code of Ethics and Practice. For more information about BACP please see: www.bacp.co.uk/

*NB: We offer advice, support and information for all options relating to unplanned pregnancy. However we are not part of the medical referral system for termination. We do however signpost clients on to other agencies, including all medical services.
